I'm a 23 year old from Edinburgh, studying Journalism at Napier University. Living in Sevilla at the moment. My travelbug is insatiable. I'm in my element when I'm out of my comfort zone.

An Anarchist idealist and Socialist realist. I believe in the good in people and in positive change. Much of my content consists of opinion pieces regarding the way we are governed. I think it's important to question societal norms and the way we're told to live our lives. I don't see myself becoming a hard hitting political journalist but would love to bring alternative views of governance and co-existence into the foreground.
I'm passionate about living as sustainably as possible and learning about reducing my impact on the Earth. For the last three years I've been visiting organic farms and eco-friendly small holdings to learn more about sustainability, living off grid and in harmony with nature. I aim to use my journalism to share those experiences and show people that we don't have to succumb to the Rat Race status quo if we don't want to.

This year I have the privilege, as President, to expand and develop Edinburgh Napier's GreenLeaf Society. I saw the light of a plant based lifestyle three years ago. Once you go guac you never go back. ( I promise the puns in my journalism are superior) I care about promoting conscious lifestyles and mindful practices, to change the way we engage with the planet and all of its inhabitants. Which I would love to do via my journalism.

Of course, I'm also a raging feminist. I deeply value egalitarianism and share my views and personal experiences via my opinion pieces. I'm on the exec for the Gender Equality Society, I'm super excited to be involved for another year as Communications Manager. I hope to keep some content coming to this site regularly but will be busy making the society even more fab than it already is!
